Σκεφτόμουν καιρό να γράψω άρθρο για τους Mummrah αλλά ήθελα να τους δω και ζωντανά για να έχω σφαιρική άποψη. Το “I Tragodia Pou Legetai Anthropos “ είναι ένας απ’ τους καλυτέρους δίσκους της χρονιάς που πέρασε.  Το συναίσθημα της οργής πορεύεται παράλληλα με τα μελωδικά  leads και το αποτέλεσμα εκρηκτικό. Δεν έχει να ζηλέψει τίποτα από οποιαδήποτε Crust κυκλοφορία της χρονιάς.

I wanted to write an article for the Mummrah, but I wanted to see them performing live so I could have a thorough view. The “Tragodia Pou Legetai Antrhopos” (The Tragedy called Human) is one of the best albums of the year passed by. The feeling of rage is moving along with the harmonious lead guitars and the result is thrilling. There is nothing to compare than the other Crust albums of the year.

Στο μεσοδιάστημα του νωτιαίου μυελού μου έχουν κάτσει σαν σφήνα  HC-Screamo μπάντες με αποτέλεσμα review σαν αυτά. Οι καλαματιανοί  Minerva Superduty είναι μια απ’ τις μπάντες που δεν τους χωράνε τα Ελληνικά σύνορα. Ο ήχος είναι πέρα για πέρα σύγχρονος και φαίνεται να έχει πέσει πολύ δουλειά στο Unreal Studios. Καθολικά προσεγμένος δίσκος με έμφαση στην λεπτομέρεια .

In the center of my spinal cord HC-Screamo bands have taken the place and as a result we have reviews like the aforementioned. The Minerva Superduty from Kalamata is a band that is very skillful for the Greek borders. The sound is modern and shows the hard work that has been done in Unreal Studios. Attention to every detail and a great result as a whole.

Η μουσική έχει  την μαγεία  σε κάνει να αισθάνεσαι ότι βρίσκεσαι σε δυο διαφορετικά σημεία ταυτόχρονα. Με το που πατάς το play στους  Ramaskri βρίσκεσαι Σουηδία ,  αυτό ήταν.  Είναι άτομα που  να κραστάρουν σε υπόγεια αντίστοιχα με αυτά που γουστάρω να συχνάζω εγώ. To ίδιο κοινό, οι ίδιοι άνθρωπο είναι εκεί μαζί με μένα και περνάμε καλά. Αυτός ο συγχρωτισμός, είναι βιωματικός και ο Crust-er ξέρω ότι θα  με καταλάβει.

Music has the ability to make you feel that you are in two different places at the same time. The moment you press “play” at the Ramaskri you travel to Sweden – as simple as that. These guys crust-ing in underground places similar to that  I also like to hang out. The audience – same guys like me – is there and having the best time. You can comprehend the interaction only by experience and I know the Crust-er feels the same.

H 6η συλλογή μας ολοκληρώθηκε. Στο μεν μουσικό μέρος ,θα έλεγα ότι είναι ότι πιο Speed-ατο έχουμε κυκλοφορήσει. Hardcore, Crust και Black Punk έχουν την τιμητική τους ,εδώ. Στο δε πολιτικό ,τα έσοδα θα δοθούν στον αγώνα ενάντια στην κατασκευή υπερτραχείας (No Tav Movement) καθώς το μαφιόζικο Ιταλικό κράτος συνεχίζει να κάνει εξώσεις ,να φυλακίζει συντρόφους να πραγματοποιεί περιβαλλοντική καταστροφή.  Η σκηνή μας είναι ζωντανή- και πιστέψτε μας προσφέρεται για γράψιμο - αλλά η αλληλεγγύη μπουσουλάει ακόμα . Να ευχαριστήσουμε τις μπάντες που ακόμα μια φορά που δέχτηκαν αναντίρρητα να συμμετάσχουν, επίσης τον Lifesuspended και DeafestChase για την εξαιρετική δουλειά.

Our 6th collection has just been completed. As for the music part, i would call it as "Speed-est", we have released it. Hardcore, Crust and Black Punk are leading. For the political side, all the revenues will be donated for the fight against the high speed train (No Tav Movement), since the Italian government- an the mafia side of it- keep making evictions, sending comrades to jail and polluting the environment. Our stage is alive- and believe us is available for publishing- and our solidarity is still on. Great thanks to the bands that once more offered to participate without question, and to the Lifesuspended and DeafestChase for their great job.

Ορμώμενοι από το γράμμα του Francesco Puglisi ( συλληφθέντα από τον  Ιούνιο του 13’) η κοινότητα του The Dark Skies Above Us αποφάσισε να στείλει τα έσοδα στην οικογένεια της κοπέλας και συντρόφου του – Paola Ferla ,για την κάλυψη των εξόδων της κηδεία της. Rumore e Rabbia is the first demo of the hardcore punk band of Bologna, Repressione. The album opens with the monologue of Total, the principal character of the Elio Petri's movie "Property is no longer a theft", in which exposes the boredom of a life dictate by the laws of the market. Conditions against which the album represents with his violence and his nihilism, an individual and collective revolt. The hoarse voice, the fast times, and the texts attack the holy remains of the society, are driven by an instinctive rage in which the sentiments flowed by the listening attempt to the system. The music became a vehicle of an antiauthoritarian message and of a permanent revolt, and an invitation to desert the ranks of the Capital. It can be considered like a political testament of a generation that live in dark times, in which found warmth in the fire that lights a cop car.

Lately the collective is full of artists that share their wonderful operas.

First let's talk about Dylan Garrett Smith of Kvoid, a painter who does really special stuff.

If any of you are located near Philadelphia, PA in the States, but if you are, he hopes to see you on February 5th at Central Tattoo Studio for the opening of his show, "What You Fear Will Come Upon You".
It's a glimpse into some of the existential fears we experience as humans and his artistic take on them.

Then Fabian of Kluizenaer and Cancer Clan with Hagiophobic is ready with Resistance volume IV.

A special mention to Ghostwood Black Ink (the same guy of Equilateral Records) who does stick&pokes really well and to Benjamin of Dotwork Orange (the same guy who organizes shows with Cvlt Of Morningstar) who does s&ps and graphics as well.

Δυστυχώς οι αντιφασιστές Homunculi πριν προλάβουν να βγάλουν ολοκληρωμένο δίσκο, διαλύθηκαν. Ως μεθαδόνη μας έχει μείνει το πρώτο (και τελευταίο?) Ep τους .Τα «κοράκια» ακονίζουν τα ράμφη στα δέντρα πριν επιτεθούν , το «Viver Fim» μπάζει συναίσθημα νεοβαρβαρισμoύ και στο «Depois de….» υπερηχητικές ντόπες λυρικότητας βουλιάζουν στην σύνθεση.Fuck Yeah.

Unfortunately the antifascists Homunculi disbanded before the release of their complete album. Their first (and also last) Ep is sweet like methadone. Just like the “Crows” prepare themselves before the attack, “the Viver Firm” brings in our memory feelings o neo-violence and especially the “Depois De” the composition is mixed with amazing elements of feeling . Fuck Yeah.

Μετά από τόσα μελωδικά uploads πάμε για κάτι πιο άμεσο. Οι Αθηναίοι  Human Wreck είναι ο ορισμός της συναυλιακής μπάντας που θα μπορούσε στο κοινό τους να βρίσκονται Punkers με Metalers αγκαλιά. Τα φωνητικά Crustιζουν  , το μπάσο  και τα ντραμς τείνουν στο extreme metal αλλά η φιλοσοφία παραμένει αλήτικη . Δεκατρία λεπτά headbanging και απόλαυσης αρκούν!

After so many melodic uploads let’s head to something direct. The Athenians Human Wreck is the definition of the concert band, that has in its audience Punkers along with Metalers . The vocals crust, the bass and the drums tend to extreme metal but the whole philosophy still remains to the familiar street way. Thirteen minutes full of headbanging and joy, I believe they are more than enough.

Οι Unsacred είναι τσαντισμένοι. Όσοι τους  παρακολουθούσαμε τα περασμένα χρονιά  είχαμε ψυλλιαστεί τι θα συνέβαινε.  Και συνέβη. Καταπληκτικό Crust  με θρηνητικό ύφος που πότε γλυκοκοιτάζει το Black Metal και πότε το Hardcore. Στον πυρήνα του όμως βρίσκεται πάντα η αλητεία του Crust που μπορεί να αντέξει τον οποιοδήποτε πόνο.

The Unsacred are really pieced. For those who have been watching them for the past years, knew what would come around. In fact it did happen. Amazing crust, moaning theme that would never approach Black Metal or Hardcore. At it very core, lies this crust that can deal with every pain.

Συνήθως λένε ότι απ το πρώτο τραγούδι του δίσκου καταλαβαίνεις τι θα επακολουθήσει. Ο δίσκος όμως αυτός είναι ένα συμπαγές κομμάτι. Η διάρκεια του μικρή αλλά  η συνοχή , η ωριμότητα και ο πλουραλισμός είναι θεόρατος. Θα παρατηρήσεις ακόμα ότι στους anopheli ότι έχουν δώσει έμφαση στην λυρικότητα της μουσικής  και τους στίχους, το crust εξελίσσεσαι καθημερινά και τούτοι εδώ είναι ένα καλό παράδειγμα.

They usually say that you get thew general idea of an album from the first song. But this album is a solid song. Its duration is rather short, but coherence , maturity and pluralism are amazing. It is noticeable that the Anopheli have emphasized in the feelings of the music and the lyrics. The crust is evolving everyday and these guys over here are a great example.

Και πολύ άργησα.Ακούω τον δίσκο των καταχνιά εδώ και πολλές εβδομάδες και σε καθημερινή βάση. Ξυπνάω καθημερινά με hangover εξαιτίας τους. Για μένα είναι σίγουρα μια από τις τρεις καλύτερες Crust μπάντες στην Ελλάδα. Πραγματικά η ενέργεια τους μεταδίδεται από την πρώτη νότα.Οι εναλλαγές ρυθμών , ψιθύρων-ουρλιαχτών , δεν αφήνουν κανένα σώμα ακίνητο. η μουσική γιορτάζει και είσαι καλεσμένος .

I know i 'm really late. I 've been listening to the album of the Kataxnia for several weeks and on a daily basis. I wake up everyday with hangover thanks to them. I am definitely sure that the guys are on top 3 of the crust bands in Greece. Their energy is being moving from the first note. The alternations of rythmes, whispers and screamings, let no body without moving. The music celebrates and you are invited to.

Made In Portland . Ξέρεις ότι απ την περιοχή  Cascadia της Αμερικής  δεν βγαίνει κάτι το οποίο  είναι μέτριο. Εκεί η φύση παίζει τον ρολό της. Οι εικονοκλαστικοί στίχοι και η τραχιά μουσική σε μεταφέρουν απόλυτα στο κλίμα. Οι contempt δεν θα σε απογοητευόσουν καθώς συνδυάζουν διάφορα είδη του μέταλ. Από Doom λυρικές καταστάσεις , hardcore ξεσπάσματα, βρώμικα Black Metal φωνητικά και Crust μαγκιά.

Made in Portland. You know that from Cascadia o U.S does not produce something not perfect. Nature plays its role there. Lyrics are iconoclastic and rough music introduces you to the atmosphere. The Contempt will not disappoint you as they tend to combine various style of metal .You get Doom lyric situations, Hardcore yelling’s, dirty Black Metal vocals and Crusty beauty.

Mexican mate's band, active since 2007, this band signifing a lot for me. Already from the climax-intro of the demo, the slapping-bass resonates in the ears and bursts the war. "Cegados" is so noisy and leaves no way to escape. With "Fuck The War" the rhythm slows a bit for leave again faster and faster in "Hiroshima" (my fav with "La Tierra Esta Muriendo"). What else to say? A personal riflection, I'm stalkering the drummer for have them in Italy and (obviously) for another work, maybe more substantial. If u want beer falling from the sky, let's wait.

Εδώ και καιρό παρακολουθούμε την στροφή των Dodsferd από καθαρόαιμο Black Metal σε πιο Crust μονοπάτια. Τραγούδια που αρχίζουν (ενίοτε κλείνουν κιόλας) με  μολότοφ, μπινελίκια και κρότου λάμψης χειροβομβίδες μπορούν να αποτελέσουν soundtrack για τους δρόμους της Αθήνας. Συνθετικά, χωνεύουν όλη την μισανθρωπιά αυτού του κόσμου. Τέσσερα τραγούδια δουλευμένα από την αφρόκρεμα του Ελληνικού Underground. Χειμαρρώδης ρυθμοί με μια χαβαλετζίδικη και λιγότερο σκοτεινή χροιά. Απ την άλλη, όποιος προτιμά τους πρώιμους Dodsferd ας μην μπει στον κόπο να κατεβάσει τον δίσκο. Οι Punk-ήδες που θέλουν να ψαχουλευτούν με το BM,αυτός ο δίσκος είναι μεγάλη ευκαιρία.
