Ο μυθικός γίγαντας Aurvandil επιτέλους μεγάλωσε και δεν χρειάζεται την φροντίδα κανενός Thor πια. Έφτασε η στιγμή του. Το Thrones είναι η αιχμή του δόρατος. Γιγαντόκορμες και ώριμες συνθέσεις που παραβιάζουν τον ορθόδοξο  Black Metal ήχο. Ραδιουργούν ,βγάζοντας μελωδικότητα  χωρίς να χρησιμοποιούν ηλεκτρονικά στοιχεία. Το τονικό κέντρο όμως, παραμένει σταθερά ακραίο και σε κάνει να χαμογελάς πονηρά. Τέλος, δοκίμασε την επιτηδευμένη μούχλα της παράγωγης για επιδόρπιο. Στους Θρόνους κάθονται Black Metal τέρατα και όχι ηλίθιοι νάνοι.
