Δίσκοι στο χώρο του ατμοσφαιρικού Black Metal ,κυκλοφορούν
με την σέσουλα. Για να (με) συγκινήσει κάτι τέτοιο την σήμερον ημέρα θα πρέπει
να είναι αρκούντως ριζοσπάστες στιχουργικά ή να γράφουν κομμάτια «ιδιότροπα» . Συμβαίνει
οι Άγγλοι ,να τα πηγαίνουν καλά και στους δυο αυτούς τομείς. Φιλοσοφημένος στίχος
με επικοσκοτεινές σκηνές .Ήχος αδρός που πασχίζει να σε πείσει για κάτι
πιο avant-garde.Σε συνθέσεις σαν το "Dust of a Gun Barrel", του οποίου τα καθαριστικά μέρη είναι αρκετά τολμηρά (για το είδος ),ισορροπούν
.Είναι δίσκος που απευθύνεται σε Black-άδες που ψάχνουν κάτι πιο καλοπαιγμένο και speed-άτο αλλά και τεχνικό ταυτόχρονα
.Δεν θα θελα να το προτείνω στο «Orthodox BM» κοινό μας , ίσως γιατί
δεν συνάδει με τις κυρίαρχες τάσεις της εποχής. Οι υπόλοιποι ας επενδύσουν πάνω
του ,τουλάχιστον για μια ακρόαση…
There are many atmospheric black metal albums around these days and it has to be something either lyrically radical or musically "weird" in order to impress me. And it happens that these guys pass both my tests with flying colours. Philosophical lyrics which present dark and epic scenes. Bold sound that tries to prove that there is something avant-garde there. Compositions like "Dust of a Gun Barrel", whose guitar parts are taking their chances (if you concider the genre) but still manage to balance. This album is for those blacksters who look for something well-played, fast and technical at the same time. I wouldn't recommend it to our "orthodox" black metal friends, because it doesn't really go with the flow. The rest of you, invest some time in it, at least for one listen....
