Οι Skinwalker ξεκίνησαν ως solo project του Αμερικανού μουσικού Insomniac το 1999. Σε μικρό χρονικό διάστημα μπαίνει στη μπάντα ο Blacksmith και η μπάντα συνεχίζει ως duo. Το line-up συμπληρώνεται το 2008 με τον ερχομό του Zamiel, του οποίου το solo project Wende έχουμε ήδη δει και ακούσει σε αυτό το blog. Η μπάντα έχει κυκλοφορήσει ακόμα ένα demo το 2008 και ένα split το 2011. Ο συγκεκριμένος δίσκος είναι ένας φόρος τιμής στο νορβηγικό ήχο με εξαιρετικά riffs και αυθεντική σκοτεινή ατμόσφαιρα.

Skinwalker started as a solo project by Insomniac in 1999. Shortly after, Blacksmith joined and the band continued as a duo. The line-up was completed with the coming of Zamiel, whose solo project has already benn featured in this blog. The band has also released a demo in 2008 and a split in 2011. This album is a tribute to the norwegian scene with excellent riffs and original dark atmosphere.
