Hi everybody. Here I am again. I had really no free time. I moved from my house, organized tdsau fest I (a bomb!) and tdsau benefit comp.No way. But now let me introduce you an amazing release of this year. Vvvlv and Void Forger split. They are our friends by this time and I'm honoured to talk of them. This stone comes first with a lot of sludgy doom and heavy voice: Vvvlv. I think they have a lot of resources that will show us time by time. Void Forger, of course, took care of graphics and stuffs and their track is totally rad. What to say more? Just listen to it (and read lyrics!).

Οι Dead to a Dying World είναι μια επταμελής παρακαλώ μπάντα από το Dallas του Texas και αυτό είναι το ντεμπούτο τους, το οποίο ανακάλυψα δυστυχώς αργά. Neocrust με black, doom και post-metal επιρροές σε apocalyptic ατμόσφαιρα στην οποία συμβάλλουν τόσο οι πεσιμιστικοί στίχοι όσο και η χρήση τσέλο και κοντραμπάσο σε όλο το μήκος το συνθέσεων, ενώ η τσελίστρια της μπάντας Sam Pruitt συμβάλλει και στα φωνητικά επαυξάνοντας τον ηχητικό πλουραλισμό. Την παραγωγή του δίσκου έχει κάνει ο Phillip Cope (Kylesa), ενώ η E.Munch αισθητική του εξωφύλλου δένει όμορφα το πακέτο. Προτείνεται ανεπιφύλακτα κυρίως στους οπαδούς του crust με έγχορδα όπως οι Oroku, οι Anopheli και οι Ecoside. Μάλιστα τους οπαδούς των τελευταίων περιμένει μια έκπληξη στο δεύτερο album της μπάντας "Litany" που θα κυκλοφορήσει στις 4 Αυγούστου, καθώς η Heidi Moore έχει πάρει τη θέση της Pruitt στα φωνητικά. Hello guys, after one 1,5 of absence I return bearing gifts...
Dead to a Dying World is an act with 7 members from Dallas, Texas and this is their debut album which I unfortunatelly discovered only recently. Neocrust with black, doom and post-metal elements in an apocalyptic atmosphere, to which the pesimistic lyrics and the adding of cello and upright bass contribute, while the band's cellist Sam Pruitt contibutes also to the vocals enhancing the overall sound pluralism. The album was produced by Phillip Cope (Kylesa), while the E.Munch like cover wraps the album up beautifully. It is strongly suggested to the fans of crust with strings like Oroku, Anopheli and Ecoside. In fact, there is a lovely surprise waiting for the fans of the latter band in the band's second album "Litany" which will be released on August 4, as Heidi Moore has replaced Pruitt in vocals. The album is free to download from the band's bandcamp. Knock yourselves out repeatedly!
This is the first album by Bacchus of Ireland. They play a unique form of doom ridden metallic crust. From beggining to end, this album pummels the listener with chugging doom and shredding crust riffery. progressing between the two in a highly chaotic manner. Bacchus definitely has the crushing sound and pace of many scandinavian crustcore bands, but with regular infusions of metal and doom trudging. A must listen!

Transcendencia... Destrucción Entero is a short esoteric journey of destruction and creation of the I. A melancholic tune with violent outbursts, expressed with, excellent in their style, vocals filled with soul agony. The band claims bands like Silencer, Corrupted, This Will Destroy You..., Arizmenda, Lantlos and Mortifiera to be its influences. Fantastic release, especially recomended to introspective and contemplating metalheads.
Οι Asilo, είναι ένα φρέσκο μίγμα sludge, doom και crust punk. Τα περισσότερα κομμάτια τους είνα αργά, heavy και πυκνά πράγμα που οφείλεται κθρίως στα δύο μπάσα και στην απουσία κιθάρας. Οι στίχοι είναι είτε στα Ισπανικά είτε στα Αγγλικά και παρουσιάζουν το θυμό και την απόγνωση από θα περίμενε κανείς από μια μπάντα που αυτοαποκαλείται " heavy τριτοκοσμική μουσική".
Asilo is a fresh mix of sludge, doom and crust punk. Most of its music is slow, heavy and dense, in a great deal because of the use of two basses and no guitar. The lyrics are either in Spanish or in English, and present all the anger and despair you could expect from a band that call themselves “heavy third world music”.

Although we've got our minds fixed on Black metal, we ocassionally like to enjoy other dark drugs as well. This album manages to be multi-layered and simple at the same time. Cough is a great band. This album could easily make bands lime Electric Wizard, Limbic Riot and Grief jealous. These guys have some quite lethal arrows in their quiver: a paranoid bass player with a master's degree in Cathedral-like bass lines, a guitarist-duo which offers some kick-ass duo-solos and grooves and a frontman who was born to spread the Doom. The misanthropic lyrics, powered by the concept of sin, give the final touch. Excellent band, great album!

Ένα εξαιρετικό split από δύο πολύ καλές μπάντες. Οι Amarok είναι μια τετραμελής μπάντα από την Καλιφόρνια που σψηματίστηκε το 2010 και οι Pyramido είναι ένα πενταμελές σχήμα από το Malmo που δημιουργήθηκε το 2006. Αργές, μακρόσυρτες doom μελωδίες αγνής κατάθλιψης.
An excellent split by two great bands. Amarok is four-piece act from California, formed in 2010 and Pyramido is a five-piece band formed in 2006 in Malmo. Slow and long doom melodies of pure depression.
Οι Fanttasma είναι μια τριμελής μπάντα που σχηματίστηκε το 2012 και αυτή είναι η πρώτη της κυκλοφορία. Καλοφτιαγμένος δίσκος με πολλές πειραματικές εκπλήξεις. Κάτι διαφορετικό από ότι μας έχει συνηθίσει η λατινοαμερικάνικη σκηνή. Και να θυμάστε παιδιά, αυτός που ξεχωρίζει από τη μάζα της pop κουλτούρας δεν είναι ο μεταλλάς αλλά ο ανοιχτόμυαλος μεταλλάς.
Fanttasma is a three-piece act formed in 2012 an this is their first release. Well-made album with lots of experimental surprises. Something different than the usual South America scene's releases. And remember guys, the one who stands out of the mass pop culture isn't the metalhead. It is the open-minded metalhead.
Οι Lockersludge είναι μια τριμελής μπάντα που σχηματίστηκε 2007 ως φόρος τιμής στον sludge ήχο του έπους Nola, των Crowbar και των Eyehategod. Μετά το πρώτο τους album "In Living Fear" που κυκλοφόρησε το 2008 η μπάντα ενσωμάτωσε στη μουσική της μια ποικιλία ήχων, από punk και hardcore, μέχρι thrash και doom metal. Αυτά τα στοιχεία αποτυπώνονται στη δεύτερη τους κυκλοφορία, το "Falling on our Faces: που κυκλοφόρησε το 2011. Το σχήμα έχει ξεκινήσει τις live εμφανίσεις και αναμένεται να μπει στο studio στις αρχές Απρίλη για την ηχογράφηση του νέου του δίσκου, ο οποίος θα κυκλοφορήσει το καλοκαίρι. Η μπάντα έχει την κλασσική sludge βρωμιά που προσελκύει τους λάτρεις του είδους, δοσμένη όμως με την επιθετικότητα του παλιού καλού hardcore και την τεχνική αρτιότητα του metal. Lockersludge are a three-piece act formed in 2007 as a salute to the sludge metal sound like the epic Nola, Crowbar and Eyehategod. After their first release "In Living Fear" in 2008 the band incoreporated a large variety of elements, from punk and hardcore to thrash and doom metal. These elements are present in the band's second release "Fallin on ouur Faces", which was out in 2011. Lockersludge have begun playing live gigs in their homeland and they are going to record their third album this April. The album is expected to be released in summer. The band combines the classical sludge "filth" we all love, with the oldschool hardcore agressiveness and the technical superiority of metal. Moreover the band is pure D.I.Y. Highly recommented. όλες οι παράγωγες ακολουθούν αλφαβητική συστοιχία(άρα αυτό είναι το 6 demo).Όμως αυτό που με πωρώνει
περισσότερο είναι το αντιεμπορικό τους προφίλ .Πατώ να βρω πληροφορίες και τίποτα .Πιστεύω ότι

What Europe was for the bm genre in 90s, is the American Continent today. Half of the new bands (maybe more) are comming from there and most of them are good. Varituuk play a groovy, old-fashioned and cursed mix which kicks ass even without lyrics. I like the fact that this band has no song titles, that their releases follow an alpabetical order(which makes this one their sixth demo). But what i like most of all is their anti-commercial profile. I search some info about of them but there is no use. I believe that this happens, because they don't give a shit. Οι Torpor είναι μια τετραμελής μπάντα που σχηματίστηκε το 2012. Αυτό το ep είναι η πρώτη τους κυκλοφορία. Προερχόμενη από την underground hardcore σκηνή, οι Torpor συνδυάζουν τη σκοτεινή επιθετικότητα με αργόσυρτα riffs και εξαιρετική εναλλαγή βρόμικων και hardcore γυναικείων φωνητικών. Εξαιρετικό ντεμπούτο, προτείνεται ανεπιφύλακτα.
Torpor are a four-piece band formed in 2012. This ep is their first release. Comming from the underground hardcore scene, these guys combine a dark agresiveness with slow riffs and an ecxellent balance of dirty and hardcore female vocals. Excellent debut, highly recommented.
Και τώρα κάτι φρέσκο από τις παγωμένες πεδιάδες της Ουκρανίας. Οι Nonsun είναι ένα metal δίδυμο που σχηματίστηκε το 2011 από τους Goatooth (κιθάρες, μπάσο, φωνητικά) και Alpha (ντραμς). Τα παιδιά κυκλοφόρησαν το πρώτο τους demo τον προηγούμενο Δεκέμβρη. Όμορφα εκτελεσμένο μείγμα από slow riffs και post-metal μελωδίες. Επίσης πολύ καλή παραγωγή για πρώτη κυκλοφορία. Συνολικά ένα πολύ ενδιαφέρον ντεμπούτο από την underground σκηνή της Ουκρανίας. Ελπίζω να δούμε περισσότερα από αυτό το σχήμα στο μέλλον.
And now some fresh blood from the cold plains of Ukraine. Nonsun is a metal-duo formed in 2011 by Goatooth (guitars, bass, vocals) and Alpha (drums). The band released their first demo "Good Old Evil" in the past December. Well-executed mix of slow riffs and post metal melodies. The production very good for a first release. Overall a very interesting debute from the Ukraine underground scene. Hope to see more from these guys.
Οι Lothorian είναι μια τετραμελής μπάντα που δημιουργήθηκε το 2011 και έχει κυκλοφορήσει ακόμα ένα demo το 2011. Αργόσυρτες, "βρώμικες" μελωδίες και εμπνευσμένα πηγαδίσια φωνητικά.
Εξαιρετικό ντεμπούτο, προτείνεται ανεπιφύλακτα στους λάτρεις του είδους.

Lothorian is a four-piece band formed in 2011. The have also released a demo in that year. Slow, dirty melodies and inspired well-like vocals. An excellent debut, highly recommented to the fans of the genre.

Οι Usnea είναι ένα τετραμελές σχήμα που δημιουργήθηκε το 20011. Εξαιρετικό doom metal με black και λίγα sludge στοιχεία. Και τα τέσσερα κομμάτια είναι εξαιρετικά με το Chaoskampf να ξεχωρίζει λόγω του φοβερού αργόσυρτου riff. Εντυπωσιακό ντεμπούτο από τους Αμερικανούς, ελπίζω να συνεχίσουν έτσι.
Usnea is a four-piece act formed in 2011, Excellent doom metal with black and sludge elements. All four tracks are very good, while Chaoskampf stands out, because of the grat slow-tempo riff. Impressive debut from these guys, i hope that they will continue like that.
